Cost of Attendance

These are the current rates for tuition, dorms, apartments, and meal plans which are charged on a per-semester basis to your student account.


Undergraduate Tuition Rates 

Summer 2023

  • $1,217.00 per credit hour

Fall 2023/Spring 2024

  • Full-time: fixed rate (block tuition) of $18,255.00 per semester for 12-18 credit hours. Credit hours taken in excess of 18 will be charged $1,217.00 per credit hour on top of the flat rate.
  • Part-time (less than 12 credit hours): $1,217.00 per credit hour

Graduate Credit Hour

  • Summer 2023: $1,271.00
  • Fall 2023/Spring 2024: $1,271.00

*DBU does not charge a separate parking fee like most universities. Instead, upkeep of the parking lots has been included in the Student Services Fee. The Student Services Fee is used to pay a portion of the total cost of shuttle services, health services, athletic events, student activities, parking, online library resources, library databases, interlibrary loan services, the Fitness Center, and synchronous learning resources. This fee is charged to both graduate and undergraduate students taking an in-person course on the main campus.

Listed below is the Federal Cost of Attendance Disclosures for an Undergraduate Student, a Graduate Student, an Undergraduate Online Student, and a Graduate Online Student based on the standard nine-month cost of attendance budget for determining financial aid:

Financial Disclosure

Estimated tuition, systemwide fees, and housing rates/fees for the current academic year are on DBU’s website. Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition, mandatory fees, and housing rates/fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. In the event of a local, state, or national stay-at-home order, University Housing may remain open for students. In the event University Housing remains open, Campus residents will be responsible for the costs assigned through their Housing Agreement.
