Upcoming Advancement Events

Join us for upcoming events on University Hill as we celebrate God's inspiring work at DBU and fellowship with one another! Each event supports the mission of DBU, which is to provide Christ-centered quality higher education in the arts, sciences, and professional studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to traditional age and adult students in order to produce servant leaders who have the ability to integrate faith and learning through their respective callings.

For questions regarding campus events, contact the Office of University Advancement at (214) 333-5168 or advancement@dbu.edu.

DBU Leadership Gala

2024 date to be announced soon!

Since 1898, DBU has produced servant leaders whose heart is to transform the world and strengthen their communities. To that end, DBU seeks to honor those whose lives reflect the values that the University holds dear. Established in 1988, the annual DBU Leadership Gala seeks to honor individuals who use their God-given talents and abilities to excel in their chosen field of work and whose lives are testimonies of achievements in free enterprise and service to the community through the Russell H. Perry Free Enterprise Award and the Tom Landry Leadership Award.

DBU Homecoming - November 18-23, 2024

Homecoming is one of the largest and most spectacular events that DBU hosts! Every November we celebrate DBU alum and how far University Hill has come! With the annual Homecoming parade, rally, tailgate, Patriots’ Basketball, and activities for the whole family, it's a wonderful time to reunite with fellow alum and see the DBU campus again! Stay up to date about the Homecoming 2024 weekend as well as other Alumni events by following @dbualumni on social media and subscribing to our monthly alumni emails
