Dallas Baptist University and the Alumni Association invite you to attend DBU Homecoming 2025. We want this to become an annual tradition for you and your family. We have so much in store for alumni of all ages and stages of life, providing an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alum and share a little piece of your DBU transformation with your family. 37th Annual Turkey Trot
Thursday, November 20th | 4:00 p.m. | Homecoming Stage
Take part in DBU's 37th Annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 20, at 4:00 p.m. Come walk or run around University Hill on the recently dedicated Lunsford Trail. Choose between a 3K or 5K trail.
Online registration opens Friday, October 31, 2025, and closes on Friday, November 14, 2025. Late registration is available at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20. Race check-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Pilgrim Chapel parking lot.
Homecoming Receptions

Reconnect with old friends and professors at select Homecoming alumni receptions across campus.

Homecoming Parade
Saturday, November 22nd | 3:00 p.m. | Homecoming Stage
Come decked out in your red, white, and blue as you watch the colorful procession of hand-crafted floats, current students, alumni honorees, civil servants, and more! Arrive early to find the best place to watch.
If you need some DBU Swag to wear, come shop our exclusive Homecoming merchandise at the new and improved DBU Bookstore. The store will be open, and there will be a pop-up tent by the Quad for your convenience.
Patriot Rally & Tailgate
Saturday, November 22nd | 3:30 p.m. | Homecoming Stage
Gather at the Homecoming Stage for a quick word from DBU Basketball Coach, Dr. Blake Flickner, and celebrate as DBU President, Dr. Adam C. Wright awards the Distinguished Alumni and the Honorary Alumni honorees.
Don’t miss the tailgate filled with activities for all ages! Enjoy inflatables, carnival rides, face painters, food trucks, and more! Roll back the clock and find your student organization’s tent on the quad.

Homecoming Game

Cheer on the DBU Patriots! Need DBU game-day gear? Purchase some from the DBU Bookstore during the tailgate!

*Please Note: Doors to the Burg Center will tentatively open early. If you have any questions about your tickets, please reach out to the Department of Athletics at (214) 333-5324 or tickets@dbu.edu. For those who are unable to reserve their game ticket in time, we will have the DBU Basketball game streamed live on the video board in Lot 4 at the top of campus!
Bonfire Bash
Saturday, November 22nd | Immediately Following the Homecoming Game
Dance the night away at Bonfire Bash, where you will find a student DJ and late-night bites.
