Private Grants and Scholarships

We know you can’t do your best academically if you are worried about financing your education. That is why we created DBU’s Office of Grants and Scholarships. If you are a currently enrolled student or a prospective student who has paid your enrollment fee, schedule a time to meet and discuss available financing options with our caring staff. You will learn more about the wide selection of vetted private scholarship and grant programs listed in your MyDBU account.

There are more opportunities for financial help out there than you might think, and we want you to help you find them. Ultimately, we want to help you fund your education, so you can be successful as a DBU student and in your calling beyond graduation day.

Maintaining Your Scholarship

Living on campus allows students to be fully engaged in the DBU experience. On-campus residency is required for all DBU Scholarships listed below except Transfer Commuter.

Students must maintain the overall GPA listed below to remain on scholarship at Dallas Baptist University. The student’s overall DBU GPA is reviewed at the end of every spring semester to determine scholarship standing. A review will take place at the end of every academic year once final grades have been posted in May. Status notifications will be sent to students’ DBU email addresses.

Note: Due to Covid-19 the Spring 2020 review will be waived and the next review will occur at the end of Spring 2021.
