IMB Third Culture Kid College Allowance

The Third Culture Kid (TCK) College Allowance is a taxable allowance that may be available to long-term field personnel in active service provided the Missionary Kid (MK) has been on the field for 36 months prior to age 18.

Open To

College-aged children of active long term service personnel who are enrolled in an undergraduate program

Scholarship Amount

Students may receive up to $5,000 per academic year for a maximum of four years. The scholarship is not awarded by DBU and is awarded by the International Missions Board (IMB).

How to Apply

The parents must apply for the funds. Most personnel apply in the spring to begin in the fall term. Both the parent and the student must meet the eligibility requirements.

A prorated amount may be available to certain former field personnel, depending on the dates of service.
