Music Scholarship
Numerous music scholarships are available. Qualifications are established primarily based on performing ability and academic record and are awarded by audition or completion.
Open To
Full-time, undergraduate students.
Scholarship Amount
Music scholarship amounts are varied based on talent, and musicianship scores from your audition. Music scholarships are adjusted annually in order to keep the department competitive.
How to Apply
All incoming first-year music students must formally audition for admission into the Department of Music. This audition will also serve as a scholarship audition. Prospective music students should complete the online audition application at www.dbu.edu/audition to schedule their audition. Audition dates are posted on the DBU Department of Music website.

Maintaining this Scholarship
To remain eligible for Music Scholarships, eligible students must:
- Maintain specific cumulative grade point average as stated in the Music Scholarship Contract.
- Maintain ensemble requirements as well as other academic and ethical expectations. It is advised that students speak directly to the Music Department for in-depth information.
- Students must be enrolled full-time in an on-campus program.
- Students must meet all components of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
