Grants

Grants are a form of gift aid - educational funds that do not need to be earned or repaid. While most grants are provided through the Federal and State governments, they may also come from the university. Grants may or may not be need-based but are typically awarded based on financial need, academic merit, or program-specific eligibility requirements.

To be evaluated for grant eligibility, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted each academic year. Students may be required to repay any portion of grant funds disbursed for classes not attended or withdrawn from.
