Military Benefits

VA Educational Benefits

For veterans, active service members, and their dependents, there are a number of VA Educational Benefits as well as DBU and Federal Financial Aid awards that may be applicable. Tuition Assistance (TA) for Military Service Members

Service members receiving Federal or State Tuition Assistance (TA) qualify to take classes for $450 per credit hour.

In addition, service members receive the following benefits when taking courses using TA:

Military-connected students using TA should ensure they speak with DBU’s VA School Certifying Official at (214) 333-5557 prior to enrolling.

Federal Aid

Depending on your status you may be eligible for a variety of Federal Student Aid Programs (i.e. Pell Grants, Federal Loans and Federal Work Study) that may complement other benefits and/or awards. To learn more, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at (214) 333-5363.

DBU Scholarships for Veterans and Active Military

Scholarships are one of the best ways to help pay for college. Dallas Baptist University has many scholarships available to working adults. Take a look at which ones may work best for you.

Note: Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) to receive any scholarship funded by DBU.
