Acteen Scholarship

Dallas Baptist University offers Acteen Scholarships to new students who are recipients of Mission Quest achievement and state and national honors.

Open To

Full-time, undergraduate students living on campus.

Scholarship Amount

These scholarship awards vary according to the number of quests achieved.

How to Apply

Incoming students who believe they are recipients of this award should complete and submit an Acteen Online Application and any other required paperwork, as requested. This scholarship is renewable each semester for eight consecutive Fall and Spring semesters. A limited number of Acteen scholarships are available. Awards will be made at the discretion of the DBU Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Specific Requirements

  1. Submit an Acteen Letter of Recommendation from their Acteen Leader.
  2. Meet all DBU admission requirements as stated in the current DBU Undergraduate Catalog.
  3. Apply for and meet the requirements for the Christian Leadership Scholarship.

Maintaining this Scholarship

  • Maintain enrollment as a full-time student.
  • Progress toward the completion of their program of study at a rate that will ensure graduation is a reasonable length of time (meet Satisfactory Academic Progress).
  • Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
