Undergraduate Christian Leadership Scholarship (CLS)

The Christian Leadership Scholarship is available to students who have demonstrated significant Christian leadership.

Open To

Incoming undergraduate students. Must be a recipient of the Christian Service Scholarship.

Scholarship Amount

The Christian Leadership Scholarship is valued up to $3,000 per academic year for qualifying students. The Christian Leadership Scholarship is limited to eight full-time semesters, is applicable to tuition charges only, and is reviewed annually. Graduating seniors who are enrolled less than full-time for their final semester will be subject to their academic scholarships being prorated based on their enrollment status.

How to Apply

Incoming students who have demonstrated significant Christian leadership may apply for this additional aid. The Christian Leadership Scholarship requires an interview and two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a church, and the other from a teacher.

Specific Requirements

Students must be awarded the Christian Service Scholarship and Academic Scholarship prior to applying for CLS. Students may contact their admissions counselor or the CLS Office (clsapp@dbu.edu) for specific details on how to complete this scholarship application.

Maintaining this Scholarship

• Students must reside in on-campus housing.
• Students must be enrolled full-time in an on-campus program.
• Students must meet all components of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
