Vocal Scholarship
DBU offers the Vocal Scholarship (Edmund F. Boettcher Vocal Scholarship) to music majors who are pursuing vocal studies as their major area of applied music.
Open To
Full-time, undergraduate students living on campus.
Scholarship Amount
The Vocal Scholarship is valued at $3,000 per academic year for qualifying students. The Vocal Scholarship is limited to eight full-time semesters, is applicable to tuition charges only, and is reviewed annually.
How to Apply
Awarded by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts to music majors who are pursuing vocal studies as their major area of applied music. Students must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Maintaining this Scholarship
- Progress toward the completion of their program of study at a rate that will ensure graduation is a reasonable length of time (meet Satisfactory Academic Progress).
