Appointments
The Writing Center schedules appointments at least one hour in advance for regular sessions and one business day in advance for required visits and exams.
Our proctoring service varies by semester. Please call our office for the most up-to-date information on exam proctoring.
Closings
The UWC closes Monday through Thursday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. and Fridays from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. for lunch. We also faithfully close for Chapel on Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Please check the official DBU calendar for holiday closures. If the University closes early the day prior to a holiday, we follow suit and close early, too. Hours vary with seasonal breaks, including summer. Call for detailed information. Major holidays, such as Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Independence Day find us celebrating with the rest of the nation.
