Justin Gandy, Ph.D.

Professor of Management

Dr. Justin Gandy teaches management classes within the College of Business at the undergraduate and graduate levels of study. He came to Dallas Baptist University in 2006 to pursue his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies, subsequently becoming the Director for Service-Learning in 2008. Before coming to DBU, he served for several years as a student minister and has worked in many other diverse vocations, including jobs in the oil field, construction, and summer camp ministry. Dr. Gandy has a passion for the integration of faith and learning and a desire to see students live out their callings in ways that honor the Lord.

Believing we learn best by asking and answering important questions, Dr. Gandy enjoys engaging students in dialogue in and out of the classroom. He met his wife, Christy, at DBU, and he loves spending time with her and their two boys. When possible, he enjoys hunting, water skiing, and playing golf. Additionally, Dr. Gandy attends Rush Creek Church and sponsors The Regiment, a group of men who support DBU athletics.
