Tutoring Services
DBU provides free tutoring services for a variety of subjects, either in a lab setting or in one-on-one sessions, with professor-recommended tutors for each subject offered. Although the Advising Center cannot guarantee tutor availability for every subject, we will do our best to help every student who requests tutoring.

Individual Tutoring
Tutors can help students understand class material better, work on homework, and prepare for tests/quizzes to improve grades for English, History, Spanish, and other classes. Typically, sessions will be an hour once a week for as many sessions as the student needs.
Homework Accountability
In Homework Accountability, offered through the General Tutoring Lab, accountability tutors will primarily help students maintain weekly deadlines and also develop study skills as needed.
Tutoring Labs
Tutoring is also available to all students through several on-campus labs, each specializing in specific subjects and open at various times during the week. Students can stop by anytime within the listed hours for help with quick questions or longer study sessions.
