Dave Copps: CEO, Hypergiant Sensory Services

Copps is known locally and internationally as a futurist, technologist, and visionary on the role that emerging technologies will play in transforming markets and the world. He founded, launched, and sold two technology companies that have placed machine learning and artificial intelligence in hundreds of companies around the world. In 2017, Copps was recognized as Emerging Company CEO of the Year in Texas while serving as CEO of Brainspace Corporation which, was acquired by Cyxtera in 2017.


Lee Bratcher: Executive Director, Institute of Global Engagement - DBU

Lee Bratcher is Executive Director for the Institute of Global Engagement at Dallas Baptist University as well as a faculty member teaching international relations and blockchain courses. He is also the founder and president of the Texas Blockchain Council, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit industry association working to make Texas the jurisdiction of choice for blockchain innovation. Lee received a blockchain instructors certification from IBM and researches blockchain solutions in land administration. He is a Captain in the US Army reserves working as an instructor for ROTC cadets at DBU and UT Dallas. Lee was awarded a master’s in International Relations from St. Mary’s University and is in his fifth year as a Ph.D. candidate at UT Dallas. Prior to his transition to academia, Lee served in the military and as a police officer in the DFW area.


Jeff Gothelf: Author, Speaker, Consultant

Gothelf works as an independent consultant to help large organizations build better products and executives build the cultures that build better products. Over a 20 year career, Gothelf has worked as an information architect, design team leader, product manager, founder, trainer, coach and consultant. Among his experience, he has also co-written the award-winning Lean UX and Sense & Respond. He recently released a new book, Forever Employable.


William Gordon: CEO, BlockQAI

H. William Gordon is Chief Executive Officer of BlockQAI, a leading blockchain development and consulting company, and its subsidiary, A Real Blockchain Solution, a company that is transforming how real estate is bought, sold, and managed. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Excel English Institute, the largest for-profit English language school in the State of Texas. William is the former Chief Information Officer for NetApp, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP); Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Cloud Services for Xerox Corporation (NASDAQ:XRX); Chief Executive Officer for Miracom Network; Chief Executive Officer for TechSys, Inc. Brian Sullivan: Head of User Research and Design Strategy, Sabre

Brian Sullivan is the Director of User Research and Design Strategy at Sabre, where he applies user research and consumer insights with the latest technology to build new products for the travel industry. He is an expert in design thinking, user research, accessibility, usability, and innovation. Brian has led design thinking workshops with several Fortune 500 companies, actively participates in the user experience community, and founded the Big Design Conference, which has over 1,000 attendees each year from around the globe. Brian founded the UX Certification program at Southern Methodist University, where students are taught design strategy, user research, UX design, and usability testing within one semester. The program was recognized by Values College. Plus, it was a finalist for a Tech Titans Award in 2017. The UX program has been instrumental in moving students from the campus to a career and helping working professionals move into new careers in management, strategy, user research, design, front-end development, and usability. In addition, Brian is the President of the UX Dallas meetup, which has almost 3,000 members. He sits on the UNT Technical Communication Advisory Board and the XD Leadership Alliance. Plus, Brian helped to launch World Usability Day for UXPA. He is an Executive Producer on the ProjectUX TV show, which is a web-based series where UX experts help startups. Brian also supports World IA Day, Dallas Give Camp, and various hackathons each year. Brian is an internationally recognized industry speaker. He is a Keynote Author on Slideshare, where his presentations are among the top 1% of content on the site. Brian’s presentations had been translated into 30 different languages. In 2013, his presentation called “Design Like DaVinci” was the #1 talk at SxSW. In 2015, Brian gave the #1 workshop at SxSW called “Pixel Perfect.” Brian is the author of “The Design Studio Method: Creative Problem Solving with UX Sketching” and is currently writing another book on user research and innovation.


Chad Thiemann: Privacy Director, CVS Health

Thiemann has a combined work experience of 30+ years in the IT sector working for different companies such as CVS Health, CVS/Caremark, Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, Arthur Andersen, and the US Army. He currently serves as the Privacy Director at CVS Health overlooking CVS’s privacy policies and procedures that comply with regulatory privacy obligations.


Paola Saibene: CEO, Quartus Factor

Paola Saibene has been a technologist for the last 25 years, after having established and practiced in two other careers, that of a psychologist, and that of a professor at universities in the area of literature and linguistics. She has been successful in converging these fields of study to deliver and execute in a future-minded, holistic, empathetic, and sustainable manner. As a technologist, Paola rose to C-level technical positions (CIO/CTO/CSO) in large multi-billion dollar organizations, granting her multiple awards by both government and private sectors, in the areas of technology innovation, and cybersecurity. Paola knows well that despite all the hard work and dedication and determination, none of these accomplishments were deserved, but instead granted and gifted by the Lord.


Sattar Bawany: CEO, Disruptive Leadership Institute

Alexandra Kodjabachi: Founder, PersEd; G20YC; UNESCO-APCEIU Youth Leader

Kodjabachi is the founder and CEO of PersEd, a training, coaching and consultancy enterprise for 21st century learning. She is a facilitator, trainer, coach and speaker on a mission to empower others to be who they are, and all they can become. Scott Roberts: Technology & Data Attorney

Roberts works as Senior Corporate Counsel at Oracle. He specializes in data licensing, cloud computing, software as a service (SaaS), data analytics, data processing, data privacy, artificial intelligence, machine learning, advertising technology (AdTech), marketing technology (MarTech), etc. Roberts also teaches as an adjunct professor at DBU for Digital Ethics. As a technology lawyer, Roberts finds business-friendly solutions to legal problems, geting real work done in a timely fashion.


Harold Heard: Founder/CIO, BlockQAI

Heard’s expertise is creating new revenue streams for companies by designing and building innovative technology solutions. He designs, transforms and optimizes organizations to create services and experiences that people love. He explicitly reaches for transformational change instead of incremental advances. Timothy Marshall: CIO, DCCCD

Marshall is the Chief Innovation Officer at Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). He is known for crafting creative solutions that solve complex business and technology issues by using research methods, objective reasoning and logic to make decisions. Marshall is DCCCD's first CIO, and has notably initiated Blockchain adoption. Marshall previously served as Vice Chancellor of Institutional Intelligence and Technology for the Tarrant County College District in Fort Worth.

Dennis Dayman: President, SURVIVR

Dennis Dayman has more than 25 years of experience combating spam, security/privacy issues, data governance issues, and improving email delivery through industry policy, ISP relations and technical solutions. Previously he was Return Path’s Chief Privacy and Security Officer. Dayman leveraged his experience and key relationships to provide best practices to his companies customers and ensures the compliance of their communications data flows. Milena Pribic: Advisory Designer, IBM

Pribic is the Advisory Designer for IBM. In this role, she designs for Artificial Intelligence at IBM as a researcher, designer, and advocate. She is a global design liaison to the IBM AI ethics board. Among that, she is a co-author of Everyday Ethics for AI and Personality of AI Systems in Education. She is the co-chair of IEEE’s Ethically Aligned Design for Business Committee.

Rochelle is an Adjunct Professor in the MSITM Program at DBU. Over the past 30 years, He has been a Divisional CIO for a Global Real Estate firm, Chief of Staff at Time Warner Cable, Global head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service at Microsoft and other large organizations and always a Technology Strategist innovating in numerous internal and consulting capacities. For 23 years his personal passion/give back project has been that of CEO of Mike Rochelle and Associates providing coaching and leadership programs for over 3,500 Senior Executives engaged in business technology. Jeremy previously served DBU as Dean of the College of Professional Studies. Vickers was involved in building the DFW startup ecosystem in the launch of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center as a Co-Founder. Before joining the Dallas Regional Chamber, Vickers co-founded the Texas Institute for Sustainable Technology. The Texas Institute focused on leveraging North Texas based research university capabilities to attract grants and consulting in Smart Grid and Cyber Security applications .


Jason Straughan: CEO, CodeUp

Straughan is CEO of Codeup, a career accelerator that uses an immersive approach to training software development to students with little to no prior programming experience. He is the former CEO of Grok Interactive and continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Tech Bloc, is an active member in Vistage, a former board member of LaunchSA, a long-time member of Geekdom, TechStars Mentor, and a founding member of the San Antonio Web Developers Meetup.
