Join this interactive trip where we will take a deeper look at civil rights through the lens of the history of South Carolina. Hear from present-day leaders, visit sites that are significant to the history of civil rights in South Carolina, and dialogue with professors about how Christians can engage deeply with issues of racial justice. 

Places We Will Visit

  • Tour historical sites in Charleston, South Carolina 
  • Visit the Cecil Williams Civil Rights Museum 
  • Tour Morris College, a leading Historically Black College 
  • Visit Liberty Hill AME Church, a key site in the civil rights movement in South Carolina 
  • Hear from present-day leaders, including a member of the South Carolina legislature, pastors, and other insightful leaders
