Voter Registration

In compliance with the Higher Education Act, Dallas Baptist University makes voter registration information available to all students enrolled in all degree or certificate programs.

Information is sent to all students at the beginning of each fall and spring semester detailing the procedures to register to vote in Texas.

How to Register to Vote

Texas law requires a physical signature on voter registration applications. You can start the process online, but you must print, sign, and mail your form to your specific County Voter Registrar. 

Check Your Status: Visit VoteTexas.gov to see if you are already registered or to update your address if you have moved.

Request an Application: If you do not have access to a printer, you may request a postage-paid application to be mailed to you via the Texas Secretary of State Website.

Out-of-State Students: If you are a student from another state living on campus, you have the option to register in Texas using your DBU residence address or to remain registered in your home state via an absentee ballot.
