Worship ministry begins with a heart shaped by God, and this degree keeps that at the center while giving students the training a lifetime of leading requires. Students study Scripture and the theology of worship, learn to plan services that follow the gospel story, and are mentored in the spiritual disciplines, character, and pastoral care that leading a congregation demands. Alongside that formation, they build real musical foundation: music theory and aural skills, keyboard and guitar proficiency, applied lessons on their primary instrument or voice, conducting, arranging, band and choral rehearsal technique, songwriting, church music history, and hands on work in live sound, media, and worship technology. Ensembles, worship teams, and semester long placements in local churches put all of it into practice, so graduates leave able to lead a congregation musically and spiritually.
