Spence Hall - Female Residence Hall
Welcome! My name is Meredith Russo, and I am the Resident Director of Spence Hall. The majority of my college career was spent living in the Residence Halls at DBU, and I am honored to now serve as the Director of Spence. During my time as a resident and resident assistant on campus, some of the most lasting and influential relationships in my life were formed.
Spence Hall is a wonderful place to live, as it offers suite-style living! Lasting friendships are made between roommates, hall mates and suitemates in Spence and it is a place of friendship, community and love in Christ. From hall events planned once a month by each Resident Assistant to the day-to-day community of living near friends, Spence Hall is a wonderful place to call home! My prayer for each resident of Spence is that you would grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus as you navigate through your time at college. Living in the residence halls allows this to happen as you walk through life alongside girls seeking the same growth and desire for the Lord. Our desire in University Housing is for each resident to experience life in Christ at its fullest as you learn, grow and live on campus. The Spence Resident Assistants and I are eager to meet you and walk alongside you this coming year! Please know that my team and I are here to serve and love you and are excited to get to know you.
Spence Hall is one of the female residence halls at DBU. In Spence there are seven RAs. The RAs are responsible for planning hall events each month, conducting meetings, and just being available for their girls. The rooms are set up suite-style, where two rooms of girls share one bathroom.
