The Forum on International Education and Leadership is a five-day educator's conference consisting of plenary sessions, breakout workshops, and interactive networking featuring nationally known experts in the field of education. The purpose of The Forum is (1) to equip DBU’s global partners with the abilities of a transformational leader and (2) to empower leaders to engage in an exchange of ideas for collective advancement.
The Forum offers a unique week-long experience designed to inspire, equip, and connect educators from across the nation and around the world. Beginning with a special pre-conference dinner and orientation, participants will engage throughout the week in dynamic plenary sessions and practical breakout workshops led by Dallas Baptist University faculty alongside nationally and internationally recognized speakers. In addition to these learning opportunities, the conference provides meaningful networking, visits to local private schools, and cultural outings that enrich both professional and personal growth. Whether in the classroom, in conversation, or in the community, attendees will leave refreshed, challenged, and better prepared to impact their schools and students.
Each attendee should experience the following:
- Personal spiritual development
- Professional leadership enrichment
- Inspiration for institutional improvements (Principles, Procedures, Best Practices)
- Encouragement for institutional mentorship and collaborative problem-solving
