BSM is a community of DBU students who grow together in God’s word, serve together in the name of Jesus, and share the gospel together by the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are grateful for our partnership with local churches as we seek to reach our campus to reach the world with the good news of Jesus that is still the power of God for salvation for all who believe!

Get Involved with BSM

BSM FLOW: We like to refer to BSM FLOW as the front door of the BSM. We partner with local churches to provide free lunch for DBU students Wednesdays from 12-1pm on campus. Check our Instagram to find out where lunch will be served each week during the semester.
BSM COMMUNITIY GROUPS: BSM Community Groups are the heart of BSM at DBU. Join a co-ed, co-led small group of DBU students who meet weekly across campus to grow, serve, and share together. Sign up for a BSM Community Group on our Linktree.
GO NOW MISSIONS: Go Now Missions is committed to sending Texas college students involved in BSM to join God at work around the world through short and long-term ministry opportunities year-round. Apply to serve with Go Now Missions this spring, summer, fall, or winter on the Go Now Mission Website.
LOCAL CHURCH: While we seek to be a community of Christ on-campus for our DBU students, we partner with local churches in the hope that all our students will be involved in a faith family off-campus through the local church. Find a Texas Baptists church near you on the Texas Baptist Churches Map.
BSM NIGHT: We prioritize community so this night of teaching, worship, and fellowship will connect and help foster a community with all students involved with BSM. This is a new event that will happen once every month on a Sunday evening at 8pm in Piper Hall for everyone involved in BSM.
COMMON GROUND: Common Ground is our international ministry that meets every Wednesday at 7pm in the International building.
DBU OUTREACH: Every Thursday from 1pm-3pm DBU students will be able to participate in a short evangelism training and then go out on campus and have spiritual conversations with other DBU students. This is a great first step for students looking to learn how to evangelize and practice with peers.
MISSION MOUNTAIN VIEW: Students will have the opportunity to go to Dallas College-Mountain View campus to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ known there. We will go every Tuesday from 10am-3pm to table, start spiritual conversations, and pray for the students.
OTHER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES: As well as Go Now Missions trips, BSM has mission opportunities during Fall and Spring break.
