Confirming Your Enrollment

You must confirm your enrollment before you will be able to register for NPO.

Electronic Math Advising Tool (eMAT) Requirement
It is recommended that students take the Electronic Math Advising Tool (eMAT) before attending New Patriot Orientation. Completion of the eMAT is required before a student will be allowed to register for any math class at DBU. The eMAT is a tool that is used to place students in the appropriate math course during advising, and it is offered online for your convenience at https://www.dbu.edu/emat.
For Music and Commercial Music Majors

Mandatory Requirement: All B.M. (Theory or Vocal Performance), B.M.A. or B.M.E. (Music Education) students are required to complete an audition to be admitted to the Department of Music.

This audition allows the student to be considered for Music Department admission and scholarship. Music Auditions must be completed prior to the last audition date (usually in April) before registering for classes at NPO. Students may register for an audition at www.dbu.edu/audition-dates. For additional questions, contact musicauditions@dbu.edu or (214) 333-5390.

Students interested in studying Music or Commercial Music, or those who have not completed an audition, may start their course of study in the non-auditioned music degrees (BA/BS Music or BA/BS Commercial Music) and complete an audition in the Fall.
