Confirming Your Enrollment
You must confirm your enrollment before you will be able to register for NPO.
Electronic Math Advising Tool (eMAT) Requirement
It is recommended that students take the Electronic Math Advising Tool (eMAT) before attending New Patriot Orientation. Completion of the eMAT is required before a student will be allowed to register for any math class at DBU. The eMAT is a tool that is used to place students in the appropriate math course during advising, and it is offered online for your convenience at https://www.dbu.edu/emat.
For Music and Music Business Majors
Mandatory Requirement: All students majoring in Music or Music Business are required to audition and complete the Music Theory Placement Exam (TPE) before enrolling in Music courses at DBU.
The TPE is administered on campus in conjunction with the student's music audition in the Music Department and is used to place students in the appropriate music courses during advising. Auditions and completion of the Music Theory Placement Exam are required in order to be advised and to register for classes. To schedule an audition and time to take the Music TPE, please contact Lacy Rosales, Auditions Coordinator, at (214) 333-5311 or by email at lacyr@dbu.edu.
