Nexus Ministry Leadership Conference

Through a joint-partnership with the DBU Graduate School of Ministry, the Cook School of Leadership provides this annual conference designed to encourage and challenge leaders who find themselves in a uniquely ministry context.

Incarnation Leadership Video Series

As a part of the CSL's Doctoral Oxford Institute, students spend a week in Oxford, learning about leadership from a global perspective. Throughout the week, a driving theme is the concept of Incarnational Leadership, an understanding of Leadership Theory from a uniquely Chrisitan perspective that seeks to lead like Jesus in whatever calling the Lord provides.

These series of videos highlight characteristics of Incarnational Leadership as seen in the lives of several individuals whom are explored during the week.

CSL Leadership Journal: Ducere Est Servire

The Gary Cook School of Leadership regularly produces a Leadership Journal entitled, Ducere Est Servire, which is Latin for "To Lead is to Serve." The journal provides articles covering a wide-range of leadership topics and leadership book reviews, written by by Ph.D. and Ed.D. alumni, current doctoral students, and faculty of the Gary Cook School of Leadership.  

Teacher as a Servant: Servant Leadership in the Classroom

Dr. Joshua Longmire outlines the characteristics of a servant leader and demonstrates how to be one in the classroom. A teacher who effectively incorporates servant leadership can support their students and serve as an example, inspiring them to become servant leaders themselves.
