Every
year, Student Life kicks off the fall semester with fun and
exciting back-to-school parties. This year we have another
exciting week ready to get our students back into the swing
of DBU Student Life!
Salvador
in Concert-Monday, August 21, 7:30 PM
Come
to the Burg Center on Monday, August 21, for a fun Back-to-School
concert with Salvador! Enjoy sodas and water from our
concession stand hosted by Spiritual Life!
Retro
Rollerskating-Tuesday, August 22, 7:00-9:00 PM
Get
your best retro clothes on and meet at RedBird Skateland in
Duncanville, TX, to skate the night away. Get ready
for the cha-cha, the hokey pokey, races, and the "best
retro costume" contest! Cost is only $4 for all
the skating and pizza you can handle!
Soda
Shop-Thursday, August 23, 8:00-10:00 PM
Flash
back to the 50's and enjoy FREE banana splits, shakes, and
floats with your friends! The Student Actvities Board
provides service with a smile as we fill up the Patriot Cafe
with food, friends, and fun!
Movie
Night--Friday, August 24, 8:00-10:00 PM
Bring
a blanket to the Quad to kick back and relax with Student
Life! No need to hide candy in your purse; Candy, water
and lemonade are provided for you! Movie TBA--check
back soon for more details!
Spring
Back-to School Broomball
It's late night with Student Life! Get on the ice with your
sneakers, a broom, and a ball and get ready for action!
Broomball 2007 will be held at Ice at the Parks located at
The Parks at Arlington Mall. Students enjoy the friendly
competition of broomball, as well as pizza and soda.
