The University celebrated its 100th anniversary
in the fall of 1998. Dr. Gary Cook arrived on campus in the
spring of 1988 to serve as DBU's president. The year 2003
marks his 15th year with the University.
At the beginning of his career at DBU, Dr.Cook
established an International Office to meet the needs of international
students enrolled in DBU. He appointed the senior vice president
for Financial Affairs, Harold Norris, to serve as the administrator
to develop the international programs. Today, Dr. Rick Gregory,
the vice president for the University Advancement, is in charge
of the international program. The international population
has grown to a healthy, active program of about 300 students
from more than 50 countries around the world.
The full-time International Student Services
Director is Rebecca Brown.
