Airport Pick-up Service - International Student Services will arrange for a DBU employee to greet you at the airport and provide transportation to the University campus upon your arrival or return to DBU for free.
Immigration Advising - The DBU International Advisors attend regular government training sessions and is available to students for free advising.
American Conversation Partners - Students have the opportunity to be part of the conversation program with an American friend. The partners meet once a week to eat dinner, go shopping, or play sports together.
Classes Available Year Round - In addition to the regular fall and spring semesters, DBU offers winter, summer, and mini-term classes to accommodate year-round learning.
Free Internet Service -
Students may access free internet service from the Academic Computer Lab located in the Collins Learning Center, from the International Center, or from the Spence Dorm.
Free Transportation - International Student Services will arrange free transportation for students to a doctor’s appointment, GMAT/GRE exam, the bank, a Social Security application session, to obtain a Texas ID, etc.
Free Personal E-mail -
Each student at DBU will receive a personal student email account using the domain name of mail.dbu.edu.
Cultural Field Trips -
DBU organizes field trips for students to various cultural events, museums, and special attractions during the year. Examples include the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Arboretum, the Mesquite Rodeo, and the State Fair of Texas.

Computer Classes -
The Intensive English Program includes a computer class to help students work and communicate more effectively using computers. Emphasis is placed on learning English while students improve their computer skills.
American Friendship Families -
We connect International Students with American individuals and families. Opportunities are provided for practicing conversation with Americans, eating in an American family's home, celebrating holidays with Americans, and even for having a homestay experience living in an American home.
Shopping Trips -
During the week, the International Students will be able to sign up for trips to the mall, Walmart, the Chinese supermarket, and the Korean supermarket.
