Those courses which are most often tutored are:
  • MATH 1101 - Pre-College Mathematics
  • MATH 1300 - Intermediate Algebra
  • MATH 1301 - Math for Liberal Arts
  • MATH 1303 - College Algebra

Most tutors are also qualified to tutor:

Math tutoring is free to all students. The tutors are DBU math students, most of whom are math majors. The Math Lab is located on the first floor of the Roberts Building, Room 117A, and the schedule of hours is posted in various places on campus by the second week of each long semester.

It is up to the individual student to come to the lab and ask for help. No appointment is necessary. Students can also contact the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at 214-333-5303 for more information about the Math Lab.
