Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is awarded to new transfer students meeting eligibility requirements and may be used for tuition only. 

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is to be used in lieu of the Academic Scholarships for students living on campus. It may be awarded in addition to the Christian Service Scholarship and the Christian Leadership Scholarship.

Open To

New transfer students enrolled full-time who meet eligibility requirements.

Scholarship Amount

Full-time students living on campus may be awarded $12,000 per academic year (Fall and Spring semesters).

How to Apply 

New transfer students admitted full-time to DBU should speak with their admission advisor and complete the Phi Theta Kappa Online Application.

Specific Requirements 

• Be a member in good standing in Phi Theta Kappa
• Enroll in and successfully complete the DBU Christian Leadership course during the first year of enrollment
• Be enrolled as a full-time student
• Be involved (for at least six hours per month) in a volunteer service or ministry activity

Maintaining this Scholarship

• Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average
• Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
