Corporate Tuition Reduction Partnership
Dallas Baptist University offers a variety of payment options for corporate education students as well as those who receive payment for their tuition from a third-party company, organization, or tuition program.
Open To
The Corporate Tuition Reduction Partnership is open to students who are accepted and registered for classes at DBU and whose employer is a DBU Corporate Tuition Reduction Partner.
How to Apply
- Meet with academic advisor at DBU and register for classes.
- Inform academic advisor that you are interested in the Corporate Tuition Reduction Partnership and supply the advisor with your employer’s name. Advisor or student should contact Mr. Zachary Williams, Director of Strategic Partnerships at zacharyw@dbu.edu or by phone (214) 333-6844 to see if DBU has a partnership with student’s employer. New partnerships are added frequently.
- Once registered for classes, students should notify the DBU Cashier’s Office of their employer’s tuition benefits, by emailing employer@dbu.edu and providing one of more of the following items:
- Employee ID or Badge
- The Employer Paid Reimbursement form (EPRA) Form and be sure to check the box that says Corporate Tuition Reduction Partner.
If your company has a corporate partnership agreement for tuition reduction, the Cashier Office will provide the office of Financial Aid with notification of your tuition reduction and your student account will be updated.
Maintaining this Award
- Register for classes for the appropriate academic term/year.
- Notify the DBU Cashier’s Office of your benefits by emailing employer@dbu.edu.
- Provide verification of employment by showing an employee badge or completing the EPRA form.
- Meet all the guidelines of the students a third-party company, organization, or tuition program.
- Progress toward the completion of their program of study at a rate that will ensure graduation is a reasonable length of time (meet Satisfactory Academic Progress).
- Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
