College of Education (COE) District Scholarship
The Graduate School of Education provides a School Employee Tuition Percentage Scholarship to qualifying students. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to school personnel who are serving students and would find it difficult to afford DBU tuition.
Open To
Graduate students who work in a local school district majoring in one of the DBU College of Education graduate programs.
Scholarship Amount
The Education School Employee Scholarship is valued at (33%) tuition.
How to Apply
This is an automatic and seamless process for the students. There is no application required. Directors and the financial aid office complete the necessary form each semester. Students may contact the College of Education for additional eligibility information.
Specific Requirements
The director determines which scholarship is appropriate based on scheduling and numbers of students willing to commit to two classes per semester. Please contact the College of Education for additional eligibility information.
Maintaining this Scholarship
To remain eligible for the School District Scholarship, eligible recipients must:
- Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- The scholarship is available for a student’s full degree program assuming they maintain the GPA and coursework requirements.
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress meeting all three federally required components. (Minimum GPA, Completion Rate, & Maximum Hours)
