College of Education (COE) School Cohort Scholarship
The Graduate School of Education provides the Education Cohort Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to school personnel who are serving students and schools who would find it difficult to afford DBU tuition and for whom the ROI considering educational salaries, could otherwise not justify attending DBU.
Open To
Qualifying graduate students whose school districts partner with Dallas Baptist University and create a cohort of students.
Scholarship Amount
The Education Cohort Scholarship is valued (40%) tuition.
How to Apply
This is an automatic and seamless process for the students. There is no application required. Directors and the financial aid office complete the necessary form each semester. Students may contact the College of Education additional eligibility information.

Maintaining this Scholarship
To remain eligible for the School District Scholarship, eligible recipients must:
- Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- The scholarship is available for a student’s full degree program assuming they maintain the GPA and coursework requirements.
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress meeting all three federally required components. (Minimum GPA, Completion Rate, & Maximum Hours)
