DBU Named to President’s Community Service Honor Roll for Eighth Consecutive Year

Dallas, TX – Dallas Baptist University has been named to the 2014 U.S. President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for the eighth consecutive year, and the fifth time to be recognized with distinction. DBU received this honor in recognition of its efforts to instill a spirit of servant leadership in each of its students.

DBU Dedicates New Sedwick Soccer Fieldhouse

Dallas, TX – Dallas Baptist Women's Soccer Team is proud to call the Sedwick Soccer Field House their new home. The construction project, which started immediately following the completion of the 2013 season, was completed in time for the season opener on September 11, when the Women's Soccer Team hosted Colorado Mesa University came out with a victory of 2-0.

DBU Program Accredited by International Dyslexia Association

Dallas, TX – Dallas Baptist University’s Master of Arts in Teaching program has been accredited by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). This recognition is given to university programs credited with doing an excellent job preparing reading teachers to lessen the impact of reading difficulties for their students.
