Kimberly Green's Background
Kimberly Green is an award-winning vocalist, accomplished recording artist, and dedicated educator with a distinguished record of leading innovative and impactful arts programs. She holds a Master of Music degree from Butler University and a Bachelor of Arts from Marian University.
With a commitment to artistic excellence and community development, Professor Green brings to our program a unique blend of classical (Opera, Art Song, Oratorio) and commercial music (Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Rock) expertise. Her entrepreneurial experience in the music industry further enriches her teaching, offering students invaluable insight into the professional and business aspects of music.
Her performance résumé includes notable appearances at prestigious venues such as the Apollo Theater in Harlem, ABC Studios in Chicago, and the Emmy Award-winning Black Music & Civil Rights Movement Concert at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. She has shared the stage with a wide range of celebrated artists including The Zac Brown Band, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Madonna, Mandy Gonzalez (original cast of Hamilton), Sandi Patty, Angela Brown, The Clark Sisters, and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir.
An accomplished songwriter and vocal producer, Professor Green has contributed to more than 30 recording projects, several of which have received Grammy and Stellar Award consideration and nominations.
Beyond the stage, she is a highly sought-after clinician and urban arts program specialist. Known for her leadership, passion for mentorship, and advocacy for fine arts education, she brings a servant-leader ethos to all she does. Her multifaceted expertise allows her to make a significant impact both nationally and locally, integrating creativity with strategic insight to empower the next generation of music professionals.
