Joanne Morgan has been teaching at Dallas Baptist University for five years now, first as an adjunct, and for the last three years as a full-time faculty member.

Professor Morgan graduated with B.S. in Ed. from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She majored in speech and minored in secondary education and English. She earned her M.A. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma.

She considers teaching at DBU to be the best part of her teaching career that has included teaching speech and English in the Arlington Independent School District, and communication courses, as an adjunct professor, at both Mt. View College in Dallas and Tarrant County College in Arlington.

Professor Morgan is working on her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership at DBU, as well as teaching here. She has completed all the doctoral course work and is now in the dissertation phase. The Lord has blessed her with a wonderful husband, two sons, two daughters-in-law, one granddaughter, and two grandsons. She and her husband and are members of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.
