Transfer Credit

DBU requires an independent credential evaluation to receive transfer credit or to waive prerequisites from outside the USA. Please follow the instructions below to order an approved evaluation.

Instructions

  • Evaluation Type: Course-By-Course: Make sure that you order the correct type of report, each company has different levels of evaluations. Make sure to select “Course-By-Course”.
  • Official Evaluation Required: You need to request the completed evaluation to be sent directly to DBU at the following address:
    Dallas Baptist University
    c/o International Admissions
    3000 Mountain Creek Pkwy
    Dallas, TX 75211
  • Transcript: When you apply, choose the option to send your authenticated transcripts and diplomas with your credential evaluation to DBU instead of order additional transcripts. We WILL accept these transcripts as OFFICIAL saving you time and money.

Tip

To have upper-level cases transferred in (Junior and Senior level classes), you should choose an evaluation company that will separate out lower and upper-level classes. Otherwise, all your classes will be evaluated at a lower level. This is not required, but can help if you need upper-level courses transferred in.
