Welcome to the Graduate School at Dallas Baptist University! We are so glad that you have chosen DBU for your graduate studies. You are beginning a journey that we pray is full of enrichment for you both spiritually and academically.
As a new graduate student, our desire is for you to experience a smooth transition into your graduate studies. To help with this process, we invite you to attend Graduate Orientation (GO) to help acquaint you with the many resources and student services available to you as a new graduate student.

A catered buffet-style hot breakfast and check-in begin at 8:30 AM.
Registration is free. Attendance is highly encouraged.
What to Expect
- Get everything set to start as a graduate student at DBU
- Hear from a panel of DBU alumni speakers
- Receive DBU door prizes and swag
- Register for classes if you haven't already
- Have the opportunity to meet your Program Director and ask questions
- Visit with Financial Aid and the Cashier's Office
- Tour campus in an air-conditioned bus (optional)
- The dress for the event is business casual
