These scholarships create meaningful opportunities for students to grow through the work of the Center — and for donors and investors to help prepare the next generation of Christ-centered marketplace leaders.
EBAM Work Scholarships
The EBAM Center hopes to provide Work Scholarships to outstanding students by offering free tuition, room and board in exchange for 1000 hours of work to help deliver the Mission and Vision of the EBAM Center.
EBAM Work Scholars
EBAM Work Scholars do not just participate in the Center's work, they help lead it. These scholars are central to the EBAM model. They become a critical component of the Faith-based Accelerator and help deliver each of the Programs and support each of the Partnerships.
Funding the Vision
These endowed scholarships would help create a sustainable foundation for student leadership within the EBAM Center, building out our Faith-based Accelerator and strengthening each of the other programs to serve more students, alumni and faith-based entrepreneurial community in DFW and around the world.
Ross & Lisa O'Brien Kingdom Business Scholarship
The Ross & Lisa O'Brien Kingdom Business Scholarship supports students who demonstrate a commitment to Business-as-Mission and a desire to use business for the glory of God among the nations. If you believe God is calling you to use business as a means of mission, this scholarship was created for you.
Supporting Students Called to Business as Mission
This endowed scholarship was established in 2025 and currently provides one $2,500 scholarship annually to a student who exhibits a commitment to Business as Mission.
An ideal candidate will have served, or desire to serve, with a for-profit business enterprise among unreached people groups, preferably in the 10/40 Window, with a focus on social justice, evangelism, discipleship, and/or church planting.
Growing the Scholarship
The vision is to grow this scholarship so more students can pursue Business-as-Mission opportunities — ultimately providing ten BAM scholarships of up to $5,000 each per year.
