Praying for EBAM

Something is being built here — and we believe it is bigger than any one program, partnership, or person. We invite you to join us in prayer as the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business as Mission (EBAM) seeks to raise up servant entrepreneurs for the glory of God.

Pray for Students

Pray that students would see the marketplace through the eyes of Christ. Pray that they would develop courage, humility, wisdom, and excellence as they pursue entrepreneurship, innovation, investing, and Business-as-Mission. Pray that students from every major would discover how God has uniquely gifted them to serve.

Pray for Faculty

Pray for the EBAM Center's faculty and leadership as they guide students, develop programs, build partnerships, and seek the Lord's direction for the Center.

Pray for the future growth of the faculty team, including two endowed faculty positions, one with a research emphasis and one with a service emphasis.

Pray for Advisors and Partners

Pray for the EBAM Center's Board of Advisors and partners as they provide wisdom, counsel, and real-world entrepreneurial insight. The Board of Advisors has recently expanded with additional leaders. Pray for clarity and unity as they advise the Dean and Faculty on how best to serve the Lord with excellence.

Pray for Staff and Student Leaders

Pray for the growth of the EBAM Center's team, including a full-time staff position, Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, EBAM Work Scholars, and O'Brien BAM Scholars. Pray that the Lord would raise up students who are ready to serve, lead, and help run the programs of the Center.

Pray for Scholarship Funding

Pray for 10 endowed EBAM Work Scholarships and expanded support for O'Brien BAM Scholarships. Pray that scholarships would open doors for students to devote meaningful time to entrepreneurship, investing, and Business-as-Mission.

Pray for Student Ventures

Please pray for funding to support MVP design, development, and seed capital so that student entrepreneurs can move from idea to meaningful action.

Pray for students who are building these new ventures and learning to get to revenue. Pray for wise mentors, faithful perseverance, and businesses that serve real needs while honoring Christ.

Pray for Investment Club Growth

Pray for the Private Equity Investment Club as students learn to evaluate real companies and steward capital faithfully. Pray for matching funds, wise diligence, strong partners, and Kingdom-minded companies that can create meaningful impact.

Pray for Travel Studies and Internships

Pray that the Lord would open more doors for students to visit and serve with Business-as-Mission operations in the field. Pray for travel studies, internships, partner organizations, student safety, cultural learning, and Gospel-centered relationships.

Pray for Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration Across DBU

Pray that the EBAM Center would continue to partner with students and faculty across DBU, including Music and Arts, Bible, Education, Engineering, Biology, Finance, and other majors. Pray that students across the university would see how their gifts can be used in entrepreneurship, innovation, mission, and service.
