The Pre-College Academy (previously known as Honors Scholars Academy) provides high school students the opportunity to enroll in dual credit classes through Dallas Baptist University. Classes are offered online or on-site at participating high schools and are fully transferrable.

Christ-centered Education

Not only will you earn dual credit for high school and college, but you will also experience a Christ-centered college atmosphere.

$5,000 Scholarship

Pre-College Academy students who enroll in at least one course before graduation are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship ($1,250 per year) when they enroll full-time at DBU after high school.

As a Pre-College Academy student, you receive priority consideration during the DBU admission process.

How Do I Get Started?

Step 1: Apply for Admission

  • Create your DualEnroll account and apply here!
  • Contact our PCA Admissions Counselor, Greyson Goebel, at ggoebel@dbu.edu with any application-related questions. He is happy to walk you through the process!

Step 2: Talk to Your Advisor

An advisor will call you to walk you and your parent through:

  • Select your course(s) in DualEnroll.
  • If needed, submit requisite materials (only required for math and upper-level courses).
  • Contact our PCA Academic Advisor, Jason Hilliard, at jasonh@dbu.edu with any course-related questions. He is happy to help you select the right course for your needs!
