Parents who are passionate about enhancing student life and shaping the future of the University are encouraged to participate in and support any of our parent engagement initiatives. Members of our Parent Engagement group can serve as mentors, event hosts, ambassadors, and financial donors to university initiatives. These parents play an integral role in strengthening the DBU community while fostering meaningful connections with fellow parents and DBU leadership.

Summer Send-Off Parties
Hosted by DBU Advancement and Enrollment, the Summer Send-Off Parties are an opportunity to welcome new DBU Patriots to the DBU family and connect them and their parents with returning students, parents, alumni, and DBU staff. These events help ease the transition for students and parents while fostering connections among DBU families.

Patriot Parents in Prayer
DBU has a long history of reliance on prayer. The university leadership has continually advocated for God's people to pray for God to work in meeting the needs of the school and advancing the mission of DBU, which is to develop Christ-centered servant leaders. We desire to empower DBU families through prayer initiatives. Parents in Prayer offers our DBU parents the opportunity to join with many others in praying for God to work in and through this university.

Prayer Gathering Host
DBU Parents can host a prayer gathering in their homes.

Prayer Gathering Participant
Join the Parent Prayer Gathering to pray for DBU students and the university. Gatherings take place at various locations throughout the semester.

Women's Auxiliary Board
