Dr. Lindsay Ann Nickens' Background
After receiving a B.S. in New Testament Studies at Liberty University, Lindsay Ann Nickens moved to the Dallas area from North Carolina in order to study at Dallas Theological Seminary, where she received a Th.M. in New Testament and a Ph.D. in Old Testament with a New Testament minor. She is interested in Old and New Testament contexts, New Testament use of the Old Testament, biblical languages, and how all of it helps us understand the Bible better so that we can love the Lord and know his love better.
Lindsay Ann began serving as a full-time professor of biblical studies at Dallas Baptist University in 2025, where she helps undergraduate students grapple with the biblical text and deepen their knowledge and love of the Lord through Scripture. When she’s not chatting with students in her office over a cup of tea, Lindsay Ann enjoys speaking at conferences and churches and writing about God’s Word.
