Dallas Baptist University is thrilled to announce that our Associate of Engineering Program has formed a new partnership with Baylor University. This collaboration is designed to facilitate a seamless transition for students pursuing engineering degrees. Students will complete the foundational coursework in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and liberal arts at DBU, which will set them up for success as they transfer to Baylor for their junior and senior years. "This accomplishment marks a significant milestone for our college, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to everyone who played a role in this endeavor" –Dr. Dionisio Fleitas, Dean, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

DBU is excited about working with Baylor because our shared values of faith and educational excellence will create future engineers who will further God's Kingdom. "Our goal is to not only cultivate a program where more engineering students are educated in a Christian environment here at DBU but also ensure that DBU students have a clear pathway to complete an engineering degree by transferring to Baylor," said Dr. Fleitas.

Within this program, students will be provided with robust advisement and preferential admissions at the Baylor School of Engineering. They will experience their academics in a faith-based environment with the advantage of small class sizes at DBU and then working with the advanced resources available for the Engineering program at Baylor. "I am excited about the future of engineering at DBU and Baylor, and I look forward to many years of collaboration, sharing ideas, and partnership between the universities" –Dr. Owen Schipplein, Director, Associate of Engineering Program.
