- In May 2023, five students graduated with a Master of Arts in Global Leadership degree with concentrations in missions and global studies.
- Out of the over 1,800 schools who participated in the Military Friendly School Awards, DBU is one of only 250 to receive “Gold” Award Status.
- This year's dinner held on May 18 honored Scott Coleman and Leigh Gettman-Allen.
- DBU awarded honorary doctorate degrees: Mark Lanier, renown civil lawyer and founder of Christian Lawyers Association; Kristyn Getty, a GRAMMY®-nominated recording artist and modern hymn writer; and Pastor Oscar Epps, founding Senior Pastor of Community Missionary Baptist Church.
