Dallas Baptist University is honored to announce a transformational $2.4 million gift from Jay and Jenny Allison of Frisco, Texas, to the Don and Linda Carter School of Business. This remarkable investment in DBU’s STAND FIRM. STAND OUT. capital campaign affirms the Allisons' deep commitment to Christ-centered education and the development of servant leaders equipped to impact the business world with faith, excellence, and integrity.

With a long history of faithful philanthropy and leadership in Christian higher education, Jay and Jenny have left a lasting mark on the academic and spiritual formation of countless students. Their generous gift to DBU reflects both their passion for advancing the Gospel through education and the impact of the next generation of business leaders in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond that are being shaped through the Carter School of Business at DBU.

"Jay and Jenny Allison embody the very mission we seek to instill in every student at DBU," said Dr. Adam C. Wright, DBU President. "They are steadfast in their faith, generous in their giving, and deeply committed to raising leaders who will serve with wisdom and conviction. Their gift is a tremendous encouragement to our entire University community and will have a lasting impact on students for years to come."

Jay Allison currently serves as CEO and Director of Comstock Resources, a Frisco-based oil and gas company, and has long been recognized for his leadership in business and board service, including roles with Baylor University, the Salvation Army, and Howard Payne University. Jenny Allison began her career as an educator and has remained passionate about supporting students and championing Christian education. Jenny currently serves on the DBU Board of Trustees, continuing her commitment to Christian education and service. Together, they helped launch Legacy Christian Academy in Frisco, Texas, and have actively served on a variety of boards and philanthropic initiatives across the region.

"We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with DBU," said Jay Allison. "We believe in the vision of the Carter School of Business and in the University’s mission to develop Christ-centered servant leaders. It is our prayer that this gift will help equip future business professionals who lead with integrity and live out their faith boldly, and we encourage others to invest in the work God is doing in and through DBU."

As active members of the community and longtime champions of Christian causes, the Allisons have modeled lives of generosity, service, and steadfast faith. Their gift to DBU represents a meaningful investment in the future of Christian business education and a powerful legacy of Gospel-driven impact.

The Don and Linda Carter School of Business at DBU prepares students to lead in areas such as management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and global business, all through the lens of Scripture and ethical leadership. The Allisons' gift will fund key priorities of the STAND FIRM. STAND OUT. campaign, including scholarships, academic excellence, and expanded opportunities for innovation and engagement.
