DBU To Honor Whitfill, Fletcher at Annual Alumni Dinner
This evening, Dallas Baptist University will recognize two individuals on campus during the annual Alumni Dinner as a part of Homecoming Week. Travis Whitfill will be honored with the 2018 Distinguished Alumnus Award, and Dr. Aaron Fletcher will be presented with the 2018 Honorary Alumnus Award.
Whitfill graduated from DBU in 2010 with his degree in biology and mathematics, and went on to found a drug development company in New Haven, Connecticut, called Azitra. He is also a Venture Capital Partner with Bios Partners in Fort Worth, Texas, and serves as a Senior Analyst at Bio Research, a financial services firm that was founded by his former DBU professor, Dr. Aaron Fletcher.
Dr. Fletcher is a co-founder of Bios Partners and the Founder and President of Bios Research, a firm that provides public equity research in the healthcare space tailored to large family offices and institutional firms. For over 10 years, he has worked as an independent consultant for the biotech and healthcare equity industry. Dr. Fletcher currently assists in teaching Bioethics, Biochemistry, and Cell Biology as a visiting professor at DBU.
