Mission Statement

We exist to produce exemplary servant leaders and followers who blend a Kingdom mindset and market knowledge for the glory of God. (2 Chronicles 15:7, Matthew 5:13-16)

Vision

Our vision is to honor God by becoming a leader in Christ-centered business education.

Values

Both inspiring and reflecting the Initiatives in our CSB Strategic Plan, together we value:

  • The Kingdom Impact of our programs, our people, and our efforts. All that we do and who we are is defined by our calling to impact our world in a way that brings glory to God and His kingdom. According to this calling, we aim to integrate the Christian faith with business learning in all of our courses, and in all of our market interactions. (1 Cor. 10: 31b)
  • Bringing to life our Community and Societal Impact. The CSB is a Christ-centered community dedicated to mutual growth, well-being, discipleship, and fulfillment. According to this calling, we aim to build a supportive environment that facilitates the mission and vision of the College, reflects the diversity of our communities, serves our communities, and invites new friends into the family. (1 John 1:3)
  • The Market Impact of our programs, faculty, and graduates. The CSB is a Christ-centered community engaged in partnership with the various marketplace organizations, people, and institutions that are key stakeholders in our mission. According to this calling, we aim to create mutually beneficial value for and from these partners in a way that glorifies God and enacts the College’s Vision. (Prov. 22:1; James 4:13-15)
  • The Academic Impact of our programs, courses and scholarship. The CSB is a Christ-centered community with a primary mission focused on the academic and spiritual development of our students. According to this calling, we aim to enrich the lives and ministries of our students through rigorous, relevant academic programs and scholarship-informed curricula that reflect the needs of the world in which they will be serving, leading, and creating. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
