The keynote speaker is Dr. Linda Zabzebski from the University of Oklahoma. If you are interested in attending, contact Dr. Naugle for more information!

Worship Formation Program and Fall Retreat

Friday and Saturday, November 5 - 6

This fall, the DBU Worship Formation Program will continue its work through a gracious grant from the Calvin College Institute of Christian Worship. We have received $2500.00 to sponsor an in-depth study of Dr. Robert Webber’s significant book Ancient-Future Faith (Baker 1999) in a series of evening meetings during September and November (be watching for specific dates and times). This study will conclude with an overnight retreat November 5-6 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Encampment, featuring none other than Dr. Robert Webber himself as our keynote speaker (he will also be speaking in chapel and at the Friday Symposium on Nov. 5). Mark this weekend on your calendar now. The cost is free!

Also, the DBU Worship Formation Program will be responsible for a couple of chapel services this fall, including four liturgically oriented Advent Services in preparation for Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about God and how the church has worshipped historically!
