Mission

The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) is a Christian, non-partisan think tank dedicated to addressing issues in the public square with biblical distinctiveness. Founded in 2015, the IGE values the biblical narrative, thoughtful consideration, and gracious civility. We believe the Bible to be a living and active narrative that can illuminate the ideologies undergirding issues of our day. Though the Scriptures are a primary source they are not the only source. All truth is God’s truth. Therefore, we draw from a wide swath of material to address and contextualize such issues in a gracious and civil manner.

The Institute fulfills its mission through various programming and resources designed to develop thoughtful reflection for Christian engagement within God’s world through:

Human Flourishing

Creatively cultivating understanding that we are all created in the Imago Dei and have an active role in God’s creation.

Economic Liberty

Unlocking free enterprise to catapult economic growth at micro and macro levels.

Biblical Justice

Advocating for the rights of the marginalized, forgotten, and those actively being oppressed.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
