3 Too often financial aid can seem complicated and confusing. Let us help simplify the process – in three easy steps. Financial Aid Made Simple 1. Submit the FAFSA. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is available online at studentaid.gov. 2. Apply for Institutional Scholarships. Your admissions application will be used to determine eligibility for the Christian Service Scholarship and Academic Scholarships. You may apply for additional institutional scholarships at dbu.edu/scholarships. 3. Receive your awards. Once you apply for financial aid and meet the relevant deadlines, a Financial Aid counselor will evaluate your information. DBU will then send you an award letter summarizing all aid. Families must follow the directions outlined in the financial aid award letter and any enclosures to ensure the process is completed.
