19 G O P A T R I O T S ! Athletics are an important, and spirited, part of DBU life. The DBU Patriots field 15 men’s and women’s intercollegiate varsity teams. Our men’s baseball team competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. Our NCAA DII programs compete in the Lone Star Conference. All intercollegiate teams also hold membership in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). For those seeking competition, but with less of a commitment, the University also sponsors six club sports, while our Rec Life and intramural programs provide more than 20 competitive sport offerings.
